I don't assemble websites. I forge them.

FUAAR is a one-person web design and build studio in Cape Town. Brand, design, motion and code, all hammered out by me.

Hephaestus never shipped a template.

When the gods needed something that could not fail, they went to his forge. He made it by hand, one piece at a time. I work the same way: one commission on the anvil, from first sketch to launch day.

Templates are cast. Your business isn't.

A template gets you online fast, then makes you look like everyone else who bought it. Your brand gets bent to fit someone else's layout, and the site drags around parts it never needed. I shape yours around your content, your customers and the job it has to do.

Five disciplines. One forge.

From first mark to launch, the work stays in my hands.

From the anvil.

Commission. Forge. Handover.

  1. The commission

A short call to define the work. Then a written proposal with the scope, schedule and a fixed price. Approve it and your start date is locked.

Signed proposal · Confirmed start date

  2. The forge

The metal goes in the fire. A private staging link lets you watch it take shape, with recorded video reviews at set checkpoints and one final review before launch. No daily noise.

Private staging link · Video reviews · Launched site

  3. The handover

The code is transferred, the domain configured and deployment access is yours. A round of post-launch refinement is included. After that, keep me on a care plan or run it without me.

The smith's oath.

Struck once.Built to stay.

Approach the forge.

One commission at a time. Bring the brief: what you're building and what it needs to do.
